A New Year in Philly for Billy
Billy Marsella, 26, is a familiar smiling face
at the Loose Caboose Restaurant. An island resident for four
years, and an employee at the Loose Caboose for nearly 8 years,
Billy has decided to finish his degree and will be leaving for
Philadelphia sometime after the first of the year.
He already holds an Associate of Art degree
from Manatee Community College and attended Florida Gulfcoast
University. |
Finding a major for the music lover
is the challenge, said Billy, son of Karen and Bill Marsella of
Rotonda. Bllly sings tenor and plays a number of instruments but
says teaching and being artistically creative in the marketing /
advertising fields are also attractive to him.
"I may go to Temple University, the Art
Institute, or Drexel University there," said Billy. "I
think I'll be majoring in mass communications." His sister,
Dawn, who also works at the Caboose, says, "I’ll miss him
terribly. He's my best friend."
