Boca Grande Resident Richard Beauchamp Dies
By Linda Fudala-Tucker
A week to the day that an elegant Christmas party was held at his home on Loomis Ave., Richard Beauchamp died.

"Richard died Tuesday morning, Dec. 20, at Hospice House in Venice. He had begun a noticeable decline over the weekend and by Sunday he was having a difficult and painful struggle. That afternoon we transferred him to Hospice House, a beautiful facility, which provided a

warm and comfortable environment for his last hours," wrote his wife of 23 years, Carol in an email to friends around the world.

"Daughter Sarah Gonzalez from Orlando and son Bryan from Atlanta were able to visit with him also. I remained at his side through the night and through his final breath. He had a restful night went very, very peacefully at 7:00 AM."
